Aquascapes Water Garden Specialists provide natural garden ponds. These rock edged pools are set at ground level. The floor of the pond is graded so that there is a slightly deeper end. Rocks are set 6 inches or so under the water so that no liner shows around water level.
Gravel is placed between the rocks and at the back so that there is a small border between the pond and any turf. This makes maintenance easier. For a crystal clear pond all year round, filter systems must also be installed.
The pond is pre-lined with soft sand and geo-textile underlay. The liner comes with a manufacturer's lifetime guarantee to ensure that it will never go britlle or perish.
Filetrs are buried where possible on a concrete base to ensure a permanent level. All pipework is valved and buried, and all cables are buried in conduit where possible.
